Xoriyad is operated by Af Somali Education Services LLC, doing business as Xoriyad ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Xoriyad app (app.xoriyad.com and our mobile apps) collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and the name you enter. You sign in with a one-time code; we do not use passwords.
• What you enter: income, budget, spending and saving entries, debts, goals, assets, currency, and where your income comes from (optional). We do not connect to your bank, card or mobile-money accounts.
• Payments: your plan, payment method type and subscription dates. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Mobile-money payments are confirmed with you directly (for example on WhatsApp).
• Technical: sign-in cookies that keep you logged in, a small setting stored on your device (the last place you saved to), and standard server logs (such as IP address and time) kept for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your information.

How we use it

• To run the app and show your budget, debts, goals and net worth.
• To manage your subscription and send account emails, such as sign-in codes and subscription reminders.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that run the app for us, under contracts that limit their use of your information:

• Supabase (database and sign-in) and Vercel (hosting)
• Stripe (card payments) and, for mobile money, our mobile-money payment partner
• Resend (email delivery)
• Apple and Google, if you subscribe through their app stores

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and the service.

Where it is stored

Our providers store data in data centers in the United States and the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit, and each person can only access their own records.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, your data is deleted immediately from our live systems and removed from backups within 30 days. We may keep payment records as required for tax and accounting.

Your choices and rights

• Download: Account → Xogtaada → Soo deji xogtaada gives you a copy of all your data.
• Delete: Account → Xogtaada → Tirtir Account-kaaga deletes your account and data and stops any card subscription.
• Correct: you can edit everything you entered in the app at any time.

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights, such as to object to or restrict processing. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Xoriyad is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we make important changes, we will update this page and tell you in the app or by email.
