Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Af Somali Education Services LLC, doing business as Xoriyad ("we", "us"), for your use of the Xoriyad app. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What Xoriyad is

Xoriyad is a personal-finance tool for budgeting, paying off debt, saving toward goals and tracking net worth, based on the information you enter. Calculations such as payoff dates and goal dates are estimates.

Xoriyad does not provide financial, investment, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or older where your local law requires). Keep access to your email secure, because sign-in codes are sent there. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the accuracy of what you enter.

3. Subscriptions and payment

• Access requires a paid plan (monthly or yearly). Prices are shown before you pay.
• Card (Stripe): your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Account → Subscription; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. For yearly plans we email you before renewal.
• Mobile money / manual: you pay for a fixed period, and it does not renew automatically. We remind you by email before it ends.
• App stores: if you subscribe through Apple or Google, their billing and refund terms apply.
• Problems with a payment? Email us at support@xoriyad.com. We look at every request personally and will make it right — including a refund when a charge was a mistake or the app did not work for you.
• Launch or promotional prices apply only as stated when you subscribe.
• We may change prices for future periods; we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the change applies.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no unlawful activity, no attempts to access other people's data or our systems, no interference with the service, and no reselling of access.

5. Your data

Your data belongs to you. You can download it or delete your account at any time (Account → Xogtaada). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Xoriyad available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is" and may occasionally be unavailable. We may improve or change features over time.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for financial decisions made using the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory protections.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make important changes, we will update this page and tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Xoriyad after a change means you accept it.
